On the morning of Sep 03, 2004, Mr. John Chang, the Asia-Pacific Sales President of General Electric (GE) and Mr. Liu Chengkang, GE manager of Asia-Pacific, were invited to visit our company.

First of all, Mr. Chen Shenghong, the General Manager of Nanguang Power, welcomed the guests¡¯ visiting and expressed his sincere thanks to GE leaders at all levels for their concern and support for the past few years.

Mr. Chang spoke highly of the bilateral cooperation. He thought that the cooperating relationship between GE and Nanguang Power had developed smoothly for the past years, Chinese GT spare parts market had developed rapidly, and had a good developing prospect. At the same time, He asked Mr. Chen Shenghong and other participants for the open problems in Chinese market and obstacles which affected the further development.

Mr. Chen Shenghong answered the questions raised by Mr. Chang, and analyzed some price and service problems fed back from Chinese customers in details, as well as some competing ways used by competitors. Both sides confirmed that competition would certainly contribute to the market¡¯s continued development, however, they paid high attention to the potential threats existing in marketing competitions.

At last, both parties expressed their high confidence in Chinese market of energy equipment (spare parts), and made a good communication about the cooperation for the next step.

It is the second time for GE high level leaders to visit Nanguang Power in this year, which not only shows that GE pays great attention and key concern to Nanguang Power, but also reflects that Chinese market¡¯s rapid development has obviously attracted the multi-national corporations. Taking this as an opportunity, Nanguang Power will definitely have a much better development in the near future.
