A delegation of 9 staff members headed by Mr. Chen Shenghong, General Manager, of Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. (briefly known as Nanguang)  paid an inspecting visit, scheduled from 23 to 25 of April, 2008, to Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Ltd. (briefly known as Sunon Asogli) situated in the country of Ghana, Africa. The aim of the visit is to understand the site situation, and meanwhile, to serve as the preparation for the installation & adjustment in the near future.

Besides Mr. Chen Shenghong, the members of delegation also includes Mr. Luo Mingsheng & Mr. Cui Binggui from Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) Co.., Ltd., Mr. Teng Jianguo from NTC Accessory Parts Manufacture Co., Ltd. as well as Mr. Kou Yongping, Mr. Li Jiaxiang, Mr. Hu Zhixing and Mr. Li Fulang, etc.

For Ghana, the late April is something between the dry and rainy seasons with a pressing hotness. Based on the introduction by the employees of Sunon Asogli, the hottest temperature usually occurs around Aug. and Sep. each year with the direct ambient temperature more than 40 degrees  Celsius, which is really a challenge to the future project.

After the landing of the plane and a simple meal, the delegate member just went directly to the site office. Mr. Li Xiaohai, Chairman of Directors of Sunon Asogli, gave us a warm welcome and made a short communication with Mr. Chen & Mr. Luo, etc. Mr. Li Xiaohai emphasized the pressure resulting from the cycle time and he estimated that basic work would be finished around the end of May, 2008, and he hopes that full preparations be made for the ultimate purpose of early power generation.

On behalf of Nanguang , Mr. Chen Shenghong stated that the Ghana project is an important foreign affair. As a partner of Shenzhen Energy Corporation, Nanguang will definitely do her utmost to ensure a fast progress & a good goal.

The duration of the meeting actually lasts for less than 30 minutes. Accompanied by Mr. Wang Jinxiao & Mr. Zhao Xiongguo from Sunon Asogli, the Nanguang delegation made a detailed survey and understanding to the project site. And the communications are made among Mr. Li Fulang,& Hu Zhixing, project managers of Nanguang,, the staff in charge from Guangdong Thermal Power Co., Ltd and the project construction supervisor. This kind of discussion makes it convenient for Nanguang¡¯s staff to have a deeper understanding of the site situations. And Mr. Chen showed a special concern for the living & boarding conditions of the site staff, showing around the living rooms as well as other living necessities. And keep a record of any possible question or issue and set up resolving it once coming to China.

During the visit in Ghana, we received a warm and friendly reception from Mr. Li Xiaohai, Chairman of Directors, Mr. Zhang Haicheng, General Manager, Mr. Wang Dingbo, Deputy General Manager, etc. from Sunon Asogli, and both parties were confident and looked forward to a closer cooperation. As the first overseas project for either Shenzhen Energy Corporation or Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd., , Sunon Asogli actually plays an important role in laying foundation and developing market in the overseas market. Nanguang will definitely value this starting point and make a key global step forward.
