In Mid-September 2008, Nanguang Power has signed the contract with Jiangsu Jinpeng Power Co. for installation and commissioning of a PG6581B gas turbine generator unit and its auxiliary equipments for Indonesian LOT2 SUMUT Power Plant. The GTG unit was manufactured by Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. (briefly known as NTC). The contract is the second overseas project which has been successfully undertaken after the installation and commissioning project of 4¡Á6B GTG units located in SEC¡¯s Tema Power Plant of Ghana.

After signing the contract, Nanguang immediately started the prior period preparation, arranged for the mobilization of the relative engineers to the Indonesian site for examining the basis condition of the Unit as well as the local life of the site personnel.. At present, all preparatory work has been in place and staff who will go to Indonesia site for the unit¡¯s in position and alignment are leaving within the next few days.

Due to the short power supply in Indonesia at present, the owner has asked Nanguang to reduce the construction period with all our energy and put the GT unit into operation as soon as possible. At the same time, for this PG6581B GTG unit is the first one exporting to Indonesia from NTC, in order to ensure its smooth operation, NTC also required us to make sure high quality during installation and commissioning. For Nanguang, no matter how tense the project time is and how high the quality required, we have full confidence and ability to overcome difficulties to guarantee the construction safety, high quality, as well as completion before the deadline, successfully completing the installation & commissioning work for the unit.
