Jinxi’s GT unit is an Alstom- 5001R, of which the original control system is Mark IV. It is the first time for the domestic customer to conduct Mark IV control system upgrade & modification, which has a very important significance on the future implementation of the control system modification by large scale.

    Under the urgent requirements from the customers, Nanguang actively cooperated with GE and smoothly delivered the equipment to the site on May 22 of the same year. Jinxi began to organize the overhauling, of which the central content is “Mark VI Turbine Panel Modification”, on May 28 of that year. Nanguang appointed senior engineer Mr. Dai Zhijian, who has been trained by GE and has many years’ experience in overhauling & maintenance of the Mark V and Mark VI control system, to direct and assist in debugging on site, so that the project can be completed ahead of schedule. Nanguang has created a 14 days’ new record for domestic GT Mark VI Control System modification, winning high praise from leaders at all levels of Jinxi. At present, the GT is running in a good condition, and the control system works properly.
